What to Expect From Your Bike Fit
Bike fitting is a process, not a once-off fix. While many issues can be resolved in a single session, complex or long-standing problems may require follow-up adjustments over time.
We offer one standard fit session, which we have refined over years of experience. This duration has proven to be the most effective way to correctly fit most bicycles and address the majority of rider concerns without unnecessary complexity.
Our fits are evidence-based and supported by technology, but technology is used as a guide rather than a replacement for professional judgement. Visual assessment, rider feedback, and critical thinking are just as important as data. We believe that over-reliance on on-screen models can limit a fitter’s ability to identify real-world movement patterns and comfort issues.
Your fit will be conducted by Dave, who has over 10 years of bike fitting experience and has completed thousands of fits. This experience allows for informed decision-making and efficient problem-solving, even in more complex cases.
Post Fit Report
We do not provide detailed post-fit measurement reports. In our experience, these reports are rarely useful to customers and often lead to incorrect application when adjustments are made at other stores. Our focus is on achieving the correct fit on the bike during your session, rather than prescribing numbers to be interpreted later.
Time Trial and Triathlon Bikes
For time trial and triathlon bike fits, we require clear photographs of your bike to be sent in advance. Due to time constraints during fitting sessions, we are unable to accommodate complex mechanical or engineering changes on the day.
Our goal is to deliver a fit that improves comfort, efficiency, and confidence on the bike, using experience, insight, and proven methods rather than unnecessary complexity.
